During the years 2006 to 2010 Schleich produced sets that depicted aspects of the Wild West. There were Native Americans and Pioneers along with scenery that went with the wonderful molds. Many of these models are hard to find now due to their short run time. I personally know the cowboy and the archer were sold at Target during 2006/2007 but were soon clearance and retired. Other models in this series were limited to mom-and-pop stores since internet sales were not as readily available as they are today.
The reason these models were phased out is unknown but is likely due to production changes to China and the sale of Schleich assets around 2009.

As a side note, my neighbor when I was growing up had a huge display of these models. He had animals and Native americans from different brands and sets.
